About Us


Ri A Wina Association is a registered Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) that bears an African name “Ri A Wina” which translates to “We Are Winning”. The organisation’s vision is to build the winning spirit amongst South Africans by addressing social issues, of national importance, through community awareness and development campaigns in helping those who were previously disadvantaged. 

Ri A Wina Association’s mission is to highlight the plights and needs of the voiceless and the hopeless through mobilisation of resources for their needs and aspirations with the aim of creating opportunities for the less privileged to participate in the country’s sporting and economic activities.

Ri A Wina Association has about eight (8) development programs upon which our 2011-2015 strategy has emanated from; i.e. Among other programs, Ri A Wina runs an Educational Programs, Nelson Mandela Day, Street Children Support (SCS), One Business Adopt 1 Orphanage (1B1) , Child Minder Program (CMP), Resource (Clothing, Toys, etc.) Mobilisation, Play 4 Change 2011.

In addition to these programmes, Ri A Wina also organises fund raising and awareness campaigns to highlight the plights and needs of the voiceless and the hopeless.
